This book is full of secrets, lies, and family.

Tara Connelly was just released from prison after being sentenced for drug trafficking. She comes home to her brother, sister and her nephew. While Eddie and Connor are happy to see her Geraldine is unsettled. She ran things her way for the past 18 months and now her sister is disturbing all of it. Not only that, but she has her own secrets that she's trying to hide.

Eddie is struggling with a secret that he's been keeping for too long. Tara is trying to put her life back together when she ends up falling for the cop who put her in prison (forbidden love is a favorite trope of mine). Another thing that needs to be kept secret. When will the secrets become too much?

My family has no deep dark secrets (that I know of...hmmm) so I was living for this family drama. I really liked how different the three siblings were. But they always protected each other.

There were also secrets between Brian and Hank, the family cop duo that arrested Tara. So that was an interesting side story. I do wish we found out what happened when Brian confronted Hank, but it wasn't their story and the ending was beautifully open ended.

I want a book all about Lance and Gordi. They were two unique characters that I was interested to learn more about.

I really enjoyed The Connellys of County Down and I need more family drama books to read.
