I haven't read @tracey_lange first novel, "We are the Brennans", but I do have it and am moving it further up the list. I adored #TheConnellysofCountyDown. It was painful to read at times, as Tara navigates her way "home" after a fairly short stint in prison, trying to stay on the parolee side of the law (tougher than I imagined). Her family, while supportive, has some resentments, that have little to do with her incarceration. I didn't much care for Geraldine, although her backstory gives some understanding as to why she's the way she is. Watching her crumble was tough, especially when she proceeds to take others down with her. Fear drives these people. I raced through the final quarter of the book, and was completely taken in - the rest of the world simply faded away until I came up for air. Highly, highly recommend.
