I received a copy of "The Connelly's of County Down" by using my bonus points through Bookishfirst. I certainly was not disappointed! The novel was well written with interesting characters and a well thought out plot. The Connellys are a unique family who have been brought up in an unstable environment, have secrets, diverse personalities, and still have a love for one another, even though they have a hard time expressing and showing at times. The story starts with Tara Connelly being released from prison after serving 18 months on a drug position charge. She moves back home with her sister, brother and his son. Her hope is to get her life back on track. Finding work and fitting in with her family has its challenges. She also finds herself falling in love with a very unlikely character. Will her family secrets and past lead to a happy and stable future? You'll need to read the novel to find out!
