Best story I have read this year, and that is saying a lot!
The story moves right along, no dead spots or lag. All the characters had their own complicated life story. How the author, Tracey Lange, weaved the personalities and their own story was masterfully done. Dialog was real to life and how I thought the characters would talk.
As the story mostly follows Tara and how much she protected her family, it also got her in lots of trouble. Love the twists because they were not foreshadowed. Even when you didn't see them coming they made sense.
I really like how Connor, Tara's nephew, told her jokes when she need encouragement. I enjoyed how the story intertwined them in.
A great story of family dynamics and how each member of the family handle life's issues in their special way. Yet, still have unconditional love.
