I would say for me personally, this was just an okay read.
I thought the story started out strong, where we learn our main character, Tara, has just gotten out of jail after being locked away for 18 months due to drug-dealing charges. I like that we were following a character as she got her life together in the aftermath of being released.
I liked that each of the siblings had their own problems and trauma that they are dealing with. I wish I had grown more attached to the characters than I ultimately was.
Having said that, this story felt a bit like it was just about the family drama, without anything else really going on. That made the pace feel a lot slower than what I usually like.
I think overall, the story was a bit too predictable for my personal tastes. That may not bother other people, but I just don't like that I could guess what was going to happen so early in the book.
