Tara Connelly has just gotten out of prison. Her family’s past goes farther than she’d like to admit, and the bond goes deeper as well. Tara has to navigate trust issues and learn to face difficulties in this fast book by Tracy Lange

This was such a good book with a unique plot line. I love the way that all the storylines came together towards the end, the forbidden love story, and so much more. I wish there was a sequel to this book or something along the same lines. The content was not overly explicit (no open door scenes) and the language was very mild as well. I could not put it down as soon as I picked it up.

My only complaint was that there was a little confusion with the third person narration. it was hard to track which character was talking at one point occasionally.

I hope Tracey Langes other book is somewhat of a similar set up as it’s on my list of books to read. I’d recommend to anyone who wants to read a good contemporary book with a twist.
