I like it! This author did well at making you connect with both of these characters and I really enjoy Tara's spunk and Brian's softness (despite being a cop). I feel like the last chapter of the sneak peek really left us on a cliffhanger, but I would really like to know what happens next. Not a novel of suspense, that's for sure. The plot seems really interesting and the circumstances are relatable to people everywhere and I already feel empathy for these people that I had never felt before. I feel like I can understand those like them a little better already./ This is a genre I've never explored before but I think that this book is a good place to start.
