Unsure if this is a book I'd like

The floral cover of THE CONNELLYS OF COUNTY DOWN is beautiful. The quote at the beginning of the book was a though-provoking way to get things started and made me wonder how it would tie into the story. I like the writing style so far, however the premise of the book seems so-so as far as catching my interest. This is one that I would be likely to borrow from the library to give it a try rather than buying it without reading it first.
