First, let's take a moment to appreciate this GORGEOUS cover.
So far, it seems like the story is going to be heavy in theme, rather than plot, but the summary would suggest otherwise. There just wasn't a lot happening in these few pages for me to believe that it's going to be a fast-paced novel.
I like that the history between her and Brian is going to slowly build, but I don't think I'm going to like Brian very much. I didn't like how he feels almost entitled to apologize to Tara. Like he used his authority to hold up Tara's release just to make her listen to him apologize. I would like to see if he changes at all as the story progresses.
