The first look left me with many questions. Why would the officer show up to meet with an inmate that he put there? Why all the fuss? There's definitely more to the story, I'm guessing that's the boyfriend that the officer is still working on? What are the other secrets going on in the story? Lots of questions. I see this as a drama that will draw the reader in while it unwinds.
