I love a complicated family story and the first few pages of this novel hint at one I will be able to immerse myself in. A woman leaving prison intends to live with her siblings again but signs say there is a lot of tension in those relationships. When her sister fails to show up too pick her up on her release she accepts a ride home from the police man who arrested. Talk about complicated! I wanted to settle in and read this book from cover to cover and cannot wait to have the opportunity to do so.
