The Connellys of County Down opening two chapters set up so main compelling threads and relationships. I found myself immediately interested in finding out more about how Tara ended up in prison and what had gone sideways that brought the cop involved in her arrest to show up to apologize. I love family dramas and even without meeting her siblings, there are interesting seeds of how Tara’s incarceration has impacted her siblings and nephew who witnessed her arrest. Lange’s writing draws the reader in from the start. This novel is sure to be hit with readers.
