I read Tracey Lange's first book and I fee like The Connellys of County Down is going to be similar. A complicated family history with secrets coming to light. But the big things about the first book, and what I feel just within these first two chapters of this book is: hope. The idea that no matter the past or present, there's hope for the future. I can already tell that Tara is someone to root for and someone I want good things to happen. I'm interested in digging deeper into the family dynamic and getting the full picture of what happened to cause Tara to wind up in prison, but also I'm interested in seeing her journey forward.
