'The Connellys of County Down' impressed me as a family drama and I generally really go for those.....the story of people's complicated lives. I thoroughly enjoyed the First Look and actually would have liked to be able to sneak a look at a few more chapters. I am interested in seeing Tara pick up the pieces of her life and in seeing how she deals with the challenges her family presents as well as whatever challenge Brian's presence involves. County Down makes me think of Ireland or Scotland and the cover of the book looks about right for that setting though the book takes place in New England. I haven't read 'We Are the Brennans', but this excerpt makes me want to read both that and 'The Connelleys of County Down'.
