It is an amazing start to a suspenseful thriller novel. Margot is partly traumatized by her family's unexpected death and ending up all alone with no relatives until the Suttons appear to save her. However, their charity is not free as they want Margot to become the companion to their unresponsive teenage daughter, Agatha who appears to have some kind of mental illness. I keep thinking about why Agatha has suddenly turned unresponsive and share Margot's suspiciousness about the Suttons. Maybe they are more than just the kind and rich family they seem to be. Margot's thoughts are also very relatable to a reader like me who is similar in age and I cannot wait to read more of this suspenseful but relatable thriller novel.
