The one thing I can say about this book is buckle up for a wild ride! Margot is an orphan after losing her family in a car accident. She is adopted by a wealthy family to be a companion to their non-verbal and somewhat strange daughter, Agatha. Agatha's mother, Laura, has certain rules and guidelines for Margot to follow when it comes to interacting with Agatha. During her time at the house she befriends Laura and also Agatha's brother, Barrett, who eventually is sent away as Margot becomes close to him. As the story progresses Margot begins to realize that things aren't as they seem. As she becomes more aware of what may be going on Laura isn't as nice as she was before. The story culminates in a somewhat surprising ending. This would make for a great movie!
