Margot’s life is in upheaval after a tragic accident takes the lives of her entire family. She’s taken in by the wealthy John and Laura Sutton. At first Margot think she’s there because her father once saved John Sutton’s life and now that debt is being relayed. Then she finds out that the Sutton’s have actually taken her in as a companion for their daughter, Agatha. Agatha is beautiful but also catatonic and no one knows why. What happened to Agatha? Why did she suddenly become just a shell of a person?
I love the writing style and reading the story from Margot’s perspective. I was pulled right in and hooked right from the beginning. This is a fast read - which is good because I can’t wait to find out what happens!
