This book is such a perfect autumn read. It is wonderful at setting a scene that feels spooky and spine-tingling. Even from the first look at the cover you just know something bad is going down. I mean, a spoonful of needles?! Shudder. I couldn't put this book down and was gripped from the first page. The twists and turns the book took weren't boring or predictable in the least. I'm so grateful I was able to read this book during the spooky season. As soon as I finished this book I wrapped it up and shipped it off to my best friend which is saying a lot. I read a lot of books and I don't often recommend all the books I love because I worry about wasting someone else's time if they don't love it as much as me. In this case I was absolutely certain that my friend would enjoy this just as much as I did. If you're looking for a fun, twisty, thriller that is a quick-read, look no further. It's the perfect type of book to pull anyone out of a book slump!
