This was a cleverly disguised slightly creepy YA gem!! The reader felt like things were going to be ok for Margot after the death of her family...until the reader figures out that something sinister is happening in the Copeland House. Margot feels like her life may be finally turning around...until her curiosity overcomes her sensibility and she finds out that there are a lot of secrets in the walls of the house.
The author grabs the readers attention from the very start and doesn't let it go! The characters are well written, compelling and the reader wants to root for them to have a happily ever after right from the start! Laura is the "perfect" mom, isn't she?!? Agatha is so sick, isn't she?!? Barron is the lucky one, right?!?
