Where to even begin on this mind-twisting horror story. Margot is our main character. She has been thru hell let's be honest. She has lost everything.
Things start to look up when a wealthy family take her in randomly. This family....reminded me of Harrison Ford in "What Lies Beneath"... They have their own agenda because they want her to be a companion to their daughter. Agnes, their daughter, seems to be in her own world...but apparently wasn't always that way...
When we meet the villain.... It creeped me out more than anything. It goes to show that you can never fully know someone...even if you think you do.
The writing for this story was spot on. The descriptions and character developments worked well together, and I had to finish as fast as I could! I am glad that the author gave it a solid ending, and not an open to interpretation kind of ending.
