To be honest I loved this book. I loved every second of it. I also think I would make a good movie. Not many horror books actually creep me out but this one actually did. Once I started this book I was completely pulled in and captivated by it. I was devoring it. I thought this story was dark, very unsettling, twisted and disturbing. It doesnt have any crazy gory action but it has the creepy atmosphere and suspicious characters. You have Margot who's family died in a car crash so she is bouncing around until she lands at the Sutton's. There you have John, Laura, Agatha and later on Barrett. John and Barrett are gone most of the time. So it leaves it being Agatha, Laura, and Margot at the house alone all the time in this big mansion. I like how this story had such dark moments like with the closed off rooms, the graveyard, and the scenes at night and it also had such light beautiful moments like the garden, and Barretts friendship. It made everything kinda of off balance like you didnt know what was gonna happen next. I really loved the authors writing style. I dont want to spoil anything so I just really recommend this book.
