When I began the book it seemed depressing. I was quickly pulled in by the main character Margot and enjoyed her witty sense of humor. I love the authors writing style, very detailed. There were times I would think the author was focusing on an unimportant detail but she would find a clever way to show it's important later in the book.
I only have two complaints about the book. One, Mr. Sutton's character should have been more developed. He is only mentioned a few times and you never really understand his relationship with his wife and kids. Two, the ending was too predictable and had some details that didn't make sense.
Overall this book was worth reading. I would recommend it to a friend. I appreciated getting the change to read this book from Bookish First.
