The Companion is a binge-worthy, spooky thriller that will keep you at the edge of your seat! I was hooked on this book from the first page! Twist and turns are present in this plot from the very beginning which is why I enjoyed this read so much! I did not want to put the book down. The writing style was easy to follow and everything flowed together nicely. I finished this book in one sitting because I could not wait to see what happened next. I gave this book 4/5 stars because some parts of the ending were easily predictable by the time I was about half way through the book. However, there were parts of the ending that I did not predict and left me surprised! The book tied up all loose ends and did not leave the reader with unanswered questions. Also, I wish there was more character development throughout the story. Overall, this was a chilling, amazing read! If anyone is looking for a binge-worthy thriller, I highly recommend this book!
