This was so good!! I love YA thrillers, especially in the fall time and this was just the book I needed to give me all the thrills and chills for those fall vibes. After Margot’s whole family dies in a car accident she is left as the lone survivor. Now that she is an orphan she is placed in a group home. The other orphans think she’s lucky because she survived this horrible accident, she gets her own room because of her nightmares, and after a few short weeks she’s taken in by a wealthy lawyer and his family. Her main purpose is to be a companion for their silent daughter Agatha. At first Margot doesn’t mind, it definitely seems better than living in the group home but soon the house starts playing tricks on Margot and she starts questioning everything she believes and starts wondering if it’s safe for her to stay there in this gothic house with this family she doesn’t know. I was really pleasantly surprised by this book. I’m glad I gave this one a read.
