With the short amount of pages offered, it is hard to tell if the cover art will convey the story. My first impression is that the book could use a fair amount of editing, as the sentence structure and word choices make it difficult to enjoy the story overall. The Companion is not a book that I would seek out as is, either at the bookstore or my local library.
