Margo(t) “the lucky one” - I loved this first look! It’s gonna be a good one!
The Companion seems to be everything I love about a book. The cover is perfect - and the first few chapters letting us into Margot’s tragic situation and how she ends up being Agatha’s “companion” sucked me in immediately - and I want more!!
The writing is good, quick and engaging. Give me a tragic back story, a gothic house and a creepy foreshadowing of much more to come and I’m there for it! I will buy this book if I don’t win it, but hope I do as I can’t wait to follow Margot and Agatha’s story as o have a feeling it gets way crazier!
