Luck has nothing to do with this chilling beginning to ‘The Companion’

Everyone has told Margot she is lucky.
But I could feel, with every ounce of me, how she would not feel that way after reading this First Impression for ‘The Companion.’ She has lost her parents and she ends up at an orphanage. Lucky?!
I could sense her survivor guilt, her feelings of loneliness, and then she is supposed to feel grateful (?) at the predicament of being brought to her new home and then she meets Agatha, a catatonic locked inside her mind.
What on earth is next?
I got to the end of this excerpt and absolutely NEED more of this horror to unfold right away. Brilliant start.
