I’m all up for a great horror book but I couldn’t connect with the main character. I couldn’t buy that she has no friends and no family willing to look out for her and that everyone hates her... her family just died and not one person would understand she might have nightmares for awhile? Great cover but I’ve gotta buy into the world/characters to follow the rest of the story.
