The cover alone would make me pick up the book. I'm very interested in learning how it ties in to the story. Margot's character is believable and likeable. She doesn't seem to be whining about her circumstances (though that would be understandable). You are invested in her story. I also like how quickly her character and personality develops in a single chapter.
