I've been wanting to read this book since 2016!

I've been looking forward to this book for years! I loved Katie Alender's books in the past, so I was hyped to see this book featured on BookishFirst! The excerpt does a fantastic job of setting up the creepy atmosphere. We already feel like we know the MC. This book has so many suspenseful elements, the rich family, the orphan, the mysterious girl, but it reads like it will be done in a whole new way. After I finished the excerpt, I was filled with questions, and I was disappointed that I didn't have the full book on hand because I needed to continue!
