I do so love a gothic horror novel and am interested to see what made Agatha go silent.

I loved the cover, so simple yet full of malice with all of the tiny pins. Will these pins come into play somewhere in the book, perhaps incorporated into Margot's meal once all the strange events begin to happen. And you know strange events are going to happen because first, gothic horror and second, huge estate with lots of rooms for people to hold satanic rituals, out in the middle of nowhere without any cell reception.

And I loved how there was so much foreshadowing so quickly, like when Tam says to make sure you keep track of any pills that you're given. Is Margot going to be slowly drugged, making her think that she's going mad. Or is that what happened to Agatha because she saw something she shouldn't have? And then Agatha realized it and decided to pretend to be catatonic to escape this person's evil clutches?

I would really like to read The Companion to find out what happened to Agatha, just how creepy the parents really are, and how Margot is going to escape the clutches of the estate and her new family.
