Right off the bat I got “A Series of Unfortunate Events vibes”. The perfect blend of spooky, austere, and eerie. What is up with Agatha? By all other accounts her situation could be looked at as harmless but not in this tale! The author has done a fantastic job of creating an air of mystery and intrigue simply with diction. I’m very interested in how this tale and Margot’s new home sweet home plays out.
