Katie Alender certainly knows how to start a book with a bang! I was immediately pulled into this story! I love how descriptive and detailed Alender's prose style is, there's something about the different details that really makes me feel invested and like this story is something real. I'm really intrigued by everything so far and am so anxious to read the rest of the book!
