"Art was the only language I had, (Walker 408)" this quote spoke to me because, this how I feel when reading.

Thank you, Harper Collins, for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

"The Cherry Robbers" by Sarai Walker is the story Sylvia Wren a renowned artist in 2017 New Mexico who after being pursued by a reporter decides to tell her life story as Iris Chapel in Connecticut 1950 before she became a renowned artist.

I would give "The Cherry Robbers" by Sarai Walker a 5-star review because, 1; while the story was sad it was also compelling and addictive 2; while reading the story I was able to connect to the characters and made me feel like I was with them while reading 3; I loved the idea of remaking yourself after a tragedy then after a decade you go the tell the world about the tragedy that made you who you are today 4; I loved the writing of this novel 5; I loved how I couldn't put this book down 5; I loved all the gothic aspects, twists, and surprises that were entailed in the novel and 6; the book met my expectations and I truly love this novel.
