Haunting and sisters
Thank you to Sarai Walker, Harper and Bookish First for an ARC of The Cherry Robbers. I don't give away spoilers in my reviews.
I found The Cherry Robbers to be so haunting through and through from page one to the end. That's not to say it's a ghost story and it's not to say it isn't.
It is a story of sisters and their mother and all of the bonds that pull them together - and break them apart.
I loved the title and loved the cover. I live in CT so I could easily imagine the setting. I also have had relatives work at Colt Firearms so I could easily relate to Chapel Firearms.
I don't want to give away any spoilers. The Cherry Robbers is very haunting. It's sad and emotional. there were parts that made me laugh. I loved the time of the story and the settings from the yards to the eldest sister's new house are described so well, I feel as if I could create dollhouses.
