This book is written extremely well. Syvia Wren decides that it is finally time to reveal who she really is, Iris Chapel, the last survivor of five sisters, who all suffered a traumatic death. The character development is amazing, I was instantly attached to every character. But not so much the plot, I was interested in it in the beginning but began to lose interest half way through. I love the component where the author addresses the reader directly. And the intricate details of the flowers. I was intrigued by the connection to the Winchester Rifle and their history. It was very well written. Overall The Cherry Robbers by Sarai Walker was a good, but slow read. Though there was a lot of unanswered questions, it did leave me wanting a little something extra. But maybe not every mystery has to have answers. And maybe Iris Chapel is meant to be seen as a mad woman.
