My first impression of this book was that it was absolutely something I needed to read so I requested the ARC. I’ve already read the first several pages and I’m unsure how I feel about it right now. The writing style and the beginning of the story did not at all fit the vibe I was hoping for so I’ve set it aside for the moment with the intention of getting back to it soon. I’m hoping to find it does work for me when my mood is right and my expectations have changed.
