The diary opening was interesting! - The Cherry Robbers

I liked the emphasis on art. How the speaker of the opening was an artist and saw the world in that viewpoint was relatable to me. I like the whimsical writing style of the author as well. Though this opening had an ominous vibe, I like the whole concept of opening the story as a reflective journal piece from a reluctant artist.
