Lola + Sylvia/Iris. I like it.

Anyways, the cover is beautiful. It just gives off ( in addition to the title) something pretty but unsettling. Like ooh, nice flowers, but then there's a gun. Playful, but still kinda dangerous, yknow? Like a cherry robber sounds demure, but a robber is a robber. ( That probably didn't make sense). I love the thrill of this book. Sylvia's immediate panic and restlessness over Eliza has my heart pounding. What happened in Sylvia's past? How much more does Eliza know? It's the alarm for me- the fact that Sylvia is so anxious that she can practically feel he life unraveling upon receiving a single letter. Imagine escaping from something horrible, and rebuilding your life. You're happy. Then a freaking journalist is all up in your business. I get that it's Eliza's job, but I would like to stomp her out. After reading this excerpt, my heart is trembling. Trembling! I'm scared for her.
