I don't generally read a lot of more historical fiction/mystery, but surprisingly this first look drew me in quickly and the writing is beautiful. Almost reminded me of the book Helen I read a couple years ago which I really enjoyed. I'm not quite sure if this mystery/thriller or more horror light but I like the idea behind a family curse, made me think of the Winchester House, and I'd love to know more about what happened to each sister. I am slightly worried I'd like the past parts better than the future but I'd still give it a go. One thing I do not like at all is that yellow color of the font and the font style, for me it really detracts from what could be a great cover and doesn't fit the story well.
