I was disinterested and couldn't get into the beginning

Unfortunately, I was bored while reading the first look of The Cherry Robbers, so it is not one I plan to read in the future. The writing didn't hold my attention or spark interest early on and the plot isn't something I'm entirely interested in either so it would have had to have been a really intriguing start.
