After reading a preview of this novel, I can tell this story is going to be a hit! I was interested in reading more of the novel after seeing the synopsis, and I was really impressed with what I have read so far. The plot is definitely unique in a lot of ways (it features a well known artist named Sylvia Wren who now lives as a recluse after she has changed her identity to get away from her past), and I was invested in the characters of the story after reading the excerpt. I am a fan of the author's writing style, as I found that the story flowed well. I cannot wait to see where the story goes, and if Sylvia Wren can truly "outrun" the tragic past she has tried so hard to get away from. The cover of the story is also very nice; I like how it alludes to some plot points of the story.
