From the very beginning this book absolutely grabbed me. I loved the introduction to Sylvia Wren and the connection and transition to the story of the Chapel family, of Iris and her sisters. This book clearly has so much to say about family and legacy and relationships, as well as being a gothic inspired mystery, and I can't wait to see where it goes.
