This was absolutely engrossing from the first few lines. The prose is engaging in a way that makes it easy to step into Sylvia's head and her world, and to want to know more. I actually made myself stop reading the first look after about 20 pages, because I knew I would be upset if I read the whole thing and had nothing more to follow!
