I was surprised to see that this book seems to be written in diary entries, but I do really like the writing style of the main character (and I'm guessing Sarai Walker). I'm a fan of the descriptions in the text; I will say that the text reads a lot like I'm just being told something rather than shown, but this is probably just because it's written like diary entries. I do find the premise intriguing.
