The beginning of this book really grabbed me- Sylvia Wren is a recluse, a ghost (although it bothers her to be called that). She is also a famous artist that receives a lot of fan mail. One day, she receives a letter from a journalist that claims to know that Sylvia has a hidden past and a different name to go with it.

I love secret identity stories that are introduced in this way. I feel the anxiety that Sylvia feels when she gets the letter, and like the journalist, I really want to know her story. We don't get much about her at first, only that she is the only surviving daughter (of many!)-- so there's going to be a tragic story in there! I'm excited for this book, and I hope that I get to read all of it!
