I was so intrigued to read this. I thought it was a horror/thriller and maybe even supernatural but when I discovered it was actually Sci-Fi, I lost interest and couldn't wait to just get through it. It really ruined it for me as that is not one of my genres at all. There was nothing in the synopsis that led me to believe it would turn into Sci-Fi. Anyway, the characters are extremely immature for them to be in what I assume, is high school. Ife is so depressing, and she can't stop pushing the rules, Ben is just strange, and Bee is clingy. There wasn't much to like about anyone. And then Ife and her friends made up language, I just couldn't figure it out and it got to be really annoying. I tried to read it as quick as possible so I could get through it. I love a good mystery, and the beginning led to me to believe this would be a good one, but it really fell flat for me.
