This one had me super excited to dive into. The premise was super strong and something I'd typically really enjoy. Who doesn't love some drama in am academic setting? The cover art on this one had me super excited as well. It is absolutely stunning to say the least. The first third of this book was quite lackluster. We spent time in the high school just dealing with some boring character drama. Nothing too special. I was waiting for the spookiness to begin. Once we learned about The Changing Man, things started to pick up again. It's hard to be bored when you have a serial killer who is abducting people, right? I liked the element with the returning people. It's expected that people would change after being abducting but these guys are coming back super strange and not themselves at all. Overall, this was a three star read for me and I thought it was just ok!
