When I say that there is tension in this book, it’s amazing. The spine-tingling feeling that this mysterious myth of The Changing Man could be around any corner was down well. We knew from the start that there was something bigger than Ife could’ve known. The way that the author played on race as a driving force to explain why some of these things were happening was done tastefully. I also liked the friendships that Ife had, the way that they influenced her character, and why she wanted to peruse this missing boy. I can also appreciate how the book started off with seeing what happened to the missing boy from the beginning. It really set the tone for a wild ride and what we will feel once we get into the main event of the story. The author does an amazing job of incorporating description into this story. I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us with another book.
