Honestly I’m just bored out of my mind. 🥱
Where’s the creepy YA thriller? I feel like I’m reading about a crybaby middle schooler. She cried twice in a matter of a few chapters and honestly? Why? They were stupid instances and no reason to cry.
The prologue was slightly intriguing but the style of the narrative was very weird.
I felt like overall I needed more intrigue and suspense in a ya thriller. It’s like…. I didn’t actually get any thriller vibes after that prologue. So she misses her friend in the night and then thinks she might be gone…. It wasn’t scary at all.
And don’t get me started on the way she seems “above” everyone else. She’s so pretentious about hanging with Bee but also is so rude and prejudiced against the people with money. It’s so weird. I don’t much like her character at all.
Overall, I needed more because I was so bored.
